About Christi Gmyr
Christi Gmyr is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in New York State, a National Certified Counselor, and a Coach for Moms. With nearly a decade of experience in community mental health settings as a therapist and manager, Christi transitioned into private practice approximately 1.5 years after the birth of her first child. As a mom herself, she deeply understands the challenges faced by career-driven moms navigating the demands of work and family. Christi is passionate about helping other moms take control of their lives, manage their dual roles with confidence, and prioritize their own needs without guilt or burnout.
Through both professional experience and personal growth, Christi has developed strategies to manage overwhelming to-do lists, set boundaries, and shift mindsets to embrace imperfection and focus on what truly matters. Her approach has helped her strengthen her family relationships while maintaining her career ambitions and mental well-being. Christi resides in Syracuse, NY, with her husband and two children. When she’s not at work or spending time with her family, she enjoys hanging out with friends, watching sports, and attending weekly Zumba classes.
